SMS & WhatsApp Communications Terms
Details of our text messaging and WhatsApp program, including how to opt in, message frequency, and how to opt out at any time.

Program Description
The AL TAX SERVICE text & WhatsApp program sends messages that relate to your work with our firm: appointment confirmations, reminders and changes; tax and filing deadline reminders; requests for documents; invoice, receipt and e-signature links; and updates about services you have requested. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages unless you separately agree to that in writing. Sender: AL TAX SERVICE, 1714 Saint Paul St. STE 1A, Baltimore, MD 21202.
How to Opt In
You can opt in by (a) checking the optional, unchecked SMS/WhatsApp box on our Contact page; (b) giving us your mobile number when you book an appointment or request a service, after being told on that page that we may text you about it; or (c) giving your number and consent to our team in person, by phone, or in your client paperwork. Agreeing to text messages is not required to buy any service or to become a client. You must be the user of the number you give us and be at least 18 years old.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. Depending on the services you use, you may receive several messages in a month, and more around appointments and tax filing deadlines.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any text message to stop all text messages from us (QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and OPT OUT also work). You can also tell us in any reasonable way — by calling +1 (443) 835-4492, in person, or by email at al@altaxgroup.com. We will stop within a reasonable time, never more than ten business days, and usually right away. We may send one final message confirming that you have opted out. For WhatsApp, reply STOP or block our number in WhatsApp. Opting out of text messages does not affect email, phone calls, or portal notices about services you have asked for.

Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your Privacy
Your mobile number and opt-in consent will never be sold, shared, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with the messaging provider that delivers our messages for us (Twilio, and WhatsApp for WhatsApp messages). See our full Privacy Policy for details.
